With an idyllic location in central Helsinki, Maria 01 is a hotbed for startup events. Our event venues are suitable for everything from seminars, workshop and meetups to dinner parties, happy hours and pitch nights. Whether you're looking to host a live event, stream a session to the other side of the world or why not even a combination of both – we got you covered.
Our event venues are open for anyone within and outside the Maria 01 Community. We however, prioritise events that are of interest to startups. The Maria 01 Streaming Studio
The Maria 01 Streaming Studio is the latest addition to the event venues found at the Maria 01 campus. The Maria 01 Streaming Studio is designed for quality production recordings and online streaming sessions.
The automated studio can stream video on all main platforms like YouTube, Zoom and Teams.
The studio can accommodate up to 4 speakers plus the production team handling the streaming. The studio setup includes:
- A Video Mixer, 3 x microphones, computer, adapters, cables, switches, clickers, etc.
- A 75″ media wall, 2 x 32″ screens, and a prompter screen.
Prices starting from 200€/hour + vat.

Event Venues at the Maria 01 Campus
Event Space
The Event Space is located in the main building of the Maria 01 Campus. With its’ small stage, large screen and conference style seating it’s a great option for hosting speakers and panel discussions, while the possibility of clearing out all the furniture gives you the opportunity to host a larger networking event.
- Conference style seating for 80 people
- Standing up to 150 people
- 1 large screen, 4 smaller ones, 2 wireless microphones
- Possibility to bring your own food & drinks or order catering services.
Classroom
The Classroom is located in Building 2 at the Maria 01 Campus. With a classroom-styled layout it’s the perfect venue for smaller gatherings like workshops, team sessions and board meetings.

- Multiple small tables for workshops
- Possibility to bring your own food & drinks or order catering services.
Lars Sonck Venue
The Lars Sonck Venue is located in building 3 at the Maria 01 Campus. The beautiful building built in the 1800s it the perfect venue for larger events, cocktail and networking events as well as hybrid events in combination with the Maria 01 Streaming Studio.

Arcade 5 Arena
The Arcade 5 Arena is located inside the Arcade 5 building at the Maria 01 Campus, hosting a lively community of game entrepreneurs. It’s an open space with a small stage and a private terrace opening up to the side of the venue – perfect for community gatherings, summer BBQs and larger events.
