Workshop: Building Real-Time Collaboration with Humans and AI

Real-time collaboration is a critical, yet often complex, part of many modern web applications, including document editing platforms such as Notion, project management solutions like Linear, and creative tools such as Figma.

At Liveblocks, we believe that enabling collaboration between humans and agents is essential for building AI-driven workflows that become adopted and loved by real users.

In this session, we’ll explore building realtime collaboration workflows with Liveblocks, a platform designed for enabling this, and its new integration with n8n, an AI workflow system. The session is a chance to learn about Liveblocks and n8n, and is well suited for anyone curious about building realtime applications where humans and AI can work together.

No prior experience with n8n or Liveblocks is required, just curiosity and a laptop. Feel free to sign up to liveblocks.io beforehand, as we’ll use the dashboard.

What to expect

• Explore Liveblocks’ capabilities such as real-time presence, storage, and comments.
• Introduce the Liveblocks n8n nodes, and build on example n8n workflows triggered by real-time events.
• Time to develop a demo yourself, with a prize for the best hack!

This is a practical, hands-on session, focused on learning skills you can apply to your own projects.
